Coal Additive
I. Product Introduction
The product applies to the various coal furnaces of cement plant, thermal power plant, bricks and tiles plant, steel plant and restaurants, and it can improve 15—20% firepower, eliminate 75—99% carbon deposit, purify 70—80% exhaust smoke, prolong service life of coal furnace, reduce product loss, improve product quality, and reduce labor intensity of workers. The product also applies to honeycomb briquette.
The product is processed by multiple chemical raw materials through scientific compounding and processing according to a certain proportion. According to the reaction mechanism of coal combustion, add a small quantity of combustion improver in the coal, through catalyzing, oxidation and exchange between metal ions, reduce the activation energy of coal oxidation reaction, improve the oxidation rate of coal to fully burn coal, and change the hazardous substance emitted into innocuous substances through chemical reaction, and reach the purpose of environmental protection.
It is generally known that the coal quality directly affects the combustion condition of boiler. When the coal additive produced by our company is put into burning, under the premise of not changing the boiler combustion equipment, the ignition point of fuel can be advanced to stepwise decompose and generate multiple strong oxidizing agents and catalyst, change the incomplete combustion status of inner flame and intermediate flame, and release plenty of oxygen, facilitate fully combustion of combustibles in the coal, and the fierce fire behavior, high flame and long fire bed play an intense combustion supporting role and promote the reaction of carbon and carbide in the coal. In addition, it can also react with the soot on the heating surface, so that the carbon and carbide in the soot become carbon dioxide for volatilization, which can reduce the content of carbon and carbide in the smoke, especially the carbon monoxide not fully burnt in the smoke is changed into carbon dioxide so as to release plenty of heat, and it improves the efficiency of boiler, and reduces the coal consumption of boiler so as to reach the purpose of smoke suppression, dust removal and combustion supporting. It is a kind of high-tech energy-saving and environmental product of efficient combustion supporting, high coal saving rate, deducting pollution, improving combustion efficiency and prolonging service life of boiler. The product is easy to use, with stable performance and without large investment and transforming equipment, and it has the function of optimal combustion of inferior coal and saving combustion of superior coal.
II. Product function:
The product can reach the following effects through actual measurement after being used by relevant units;
1. The dust suppression rate of coal dust is 12.9-34.8%;
2. The Ringelman black of smoke reduces within one level.
3. Reduce more than 50% of emission load of carbon monoxide;
4. The boiler thermal efficiency increases 5-8%, up to 15%;
5. The exhaust gas temperature drops to 8-20 degrees, and the furnace temperature accordingly increases 80-100 degrees;
6. Save 10-15% energy, up to 21.5%, combined efficiency is about 25.8%;
7. Reduce the emission of carbon dioxide and reduce the emission of harmful gas to 30%;
8. It plays a combustion supporting role of coal to fully burn the inferior coal and reduce the carbon content of slag tapping to 50%;
9. Reduce the coal dosage, save the social resource, and purify the atmospheric environment;
III. Coal saving mechanism:
1. The coal additive is composed of special emulsifier, disperser, corrosion inhibitor and penetrant, after being diluted by water, under the assistance of penetration component, the catalyst penetrates and disperses in the coal, especially in the plenty of gaps of coal ball, which can ensure the catalyst to contact with the internal and external surface of coal and play the catalytic action of product to the maximum degree.
2. After the coal additive is sprayed to the coal for several minutes, all chemical components contained rapidly penetrate and is absorbed to the internal coal through coal hole. When the coal is transported to the combustion chamber, the various chemical components in the additive play a role of catalyzing active carrier, reduce the temperature of ignition point of coal, intensify the oxidation and reduction reaction of coal, and the catalytic additive gradually releases new ecological active oxygen at different temperature segments, and it combines with combustibles in the coal, reduces the reaction activation energy, promotes combustion, improves working conditions, and reduces the emission of pollutants.
3. The activity of coal additive is increased by using the composite carrier and rare earth element of mesoporous structure; it can rapidly split the macromolecule carbon chain, and provide hydrogen atom through the inherent moisture in the coal, complete hydrogenation process, generate hydrocarbon compound with more low molecular weight or small molecular weight, so that the hydrogen content in the coal and higher and lower calorific value increase 8-10%.
4. Due to the rise of flame temperature and height and expansion of combustion area, the combustion intensity and density are increased;the heat transfer area of heat exchange is increased, and the heat exchange efficiency is improved so as to improve the capacity and efficiency of boiler and reach the purpose of coal saving.
5. The coal additive contains sulfur fixing agent and surface active agent, and it can absorb and solidify the sulfur dioxide generated in the combustion process, and absorb plenty of dusts and other hazardous substances, and it also eliminates the smoke scale and gel attached inside the wall of combustor so as to restrain the emission concentration of smoke.
IV. Used effects:
The coal additive increases the catalyst activity through using special emulsifier, disperser, corrosion inhibitor and penetrant by virtue of rare earth element, so that the combustion mode from the outside to the inside of traditional coal is changed to inside and outside combustion together; it improves the burnout degree of coal combustion, and reduces the heat loss taken away by chemical incomplete combustion and mechanical incomplete combustion of coal in the furnace. The catalyst intensifies the activity and completes the hydrogen and desulfurization process by virtue of the composite carrier of mesoporous structure, and reduces the emission load of smoke and harmful gas in the exhaust gas so as to reach the purpose of coal saving and sulfur fixing. In numerous applied enterprises, the coal saving rate of coal saving agent stabilizes above 10%.
1. The coal additive also applies to environmental protection and sulfur fixation; after the enterprises use the coal saving agent, the content of total sulfur in the boiler coal slag doubles. Further reduce the desulfurization cost of enterprises, and improve the atmospheric environment. The scaling and coking phenomenon of boiler wall of enterprises generally exist; the boiler maintenance not only affects the production, but also causes cost, and the coal additive can be used to resolve the difficulty in descaling and decoking aspect.
2. Sensory effect: When the product is put into the burning layer, the flame rises and color shallows. Increase the combustion intensity and density. With the increase of time, the furnace temperature rises, and the steam quantity and boiler capacity also increase.
The combustion coal bed expands and rises; slag loosens; residual carbon reduces; boiler wall scale gradually falls off, and heat efficiency improves. Generally the first balance is reached after 3 days; after 20-25 days, the ash scale in the bottom of hearth and boiler and cokes begin peeling, and the steam quantity and capacity reach the second balance after further increase.
3. Because the coal-saving additive uses sulfur suppression stabilization formula, the flame is stable; furnace body is protected, and service life of boiler is prolonged;
4. The dust emission concentration and blackness reduce, and carbon content of ash slag reduces;
5. It can resolve the difficulty of full combustion and ash slag coking of lean coal, brown coal and other inferior coals;
V. Product property
The product is non-toxic, harmless, non-flammable and non-explosive; PH value is close to neutral, no corrosion on boiler and no deterioration for long-term storage.

VII. Method of use:
1kg coal additive is mixed with 10-20kg water, (also blend by itself according to the humidity of coal), and they are sprayed on the surface of 0.5-1 metric ton coal after fully and evenly stirring.
Remarks:
<1> Requirement on boiler operator:
1. After adding combustion improver, the boiler fire is strong and fierce; in order to make full use of heat energy of hot fire, the speed of fire grate is required to be slowed under the use condition(generally slow down the speed of shift one)
2. After adding combustion improver, the coal fully burns and needs more oxygen, the blast volume shall be properly adjusted according to the condition, and 1-3cm2 thickness of coal bed shall be thinned depending on the circumstance.
<2> Notes
The product shall be stored in the dry and shady place, the temperature is not more than 80℃, and it cannot be mixed with organic matter, contacted with food and stored and transported with inflammables and oils.
The product cannot be directly burnt, otherwise, the effect is not obvious, and its warranty period is three years.
